Why does pinapple juice only come in small aluminum cans with foil pull-tabs? Why can't you buy a jug of pinapple juice?

Thanks so much for your inquiry.
At this time, steel cans are the best packaging option for our DOLE Pineapple
Juice providing the best protection and also the longest amount of shelf life.
Putting our juice in cans enables it to have a two to three year shelf life,
depending upon how the consumer stores the product. We recommend storing all
canned items in a cool, dry place. We do experiment with different types of
packaging options from time to time, however, we have yet to find one better
than our old fashioned can.
We hope this information is helpful.
Thanks so much for taking time to write to us!
