Pineapple Juice Shop

Why does pineapple juice only come in small aluminum cans with foil pull-tabs? Why can't you buy a jug of pineapple juice?

Thanks so much for your inquiry. At this time, steel cans are the best packaging option for our DOLE Pineapple Juice providing the best protection and also the longest amount of shelf life. Putting our juice in cans enables it to have a two to three year shelf life, depending upon how the consumer stores the product. We recommend storing all canned items in a cool, dry place. We do experiment with different types of packaging options from time to time, however, we have yet to find one better than our old fashioned can. We hope this information is helpful. Thanks so much for taking time to write to us! Sincerely, Consumer Response Staff Dole Consumer Center Westlake Village, CA
