Considering how much history has been lost to time, and technology leaves information behind with every upgrade, history is getting shorter. There are computer files that cannot be read anymore . . . but carving names into rocks can still be seen. Technology carries the seed to doom history.

to answer to MsKnowItAll, although, yes, for a litle bit of time that will happen, technology will only get better at remembering things and with the internet being a thing, people will keep posting and reposting whatever they see on the internet which could imortalize it, and as i said, technology gets better and better at remebering things, so as we back things up on better and better computers it makes it harder and harder for them to get lost to time. I think that sadly, the age of short history classes will eventually come to an end :(...
