In a way, I feel like my friend has been replaced by an impostor bc she acts slightly different and she wears clothes that her old self would never wear. And no one even notices. (Ok why am I even calling her a friend)

This is actually a lot more terrifying than it sounds, even for the person experiencing it. Imagine being sure that you are living with a stranger that looks like your loved one, and you have no idea what happened to that certain loved one. Not to mention how that loved one feels when presented with the information that your loved one dealing with Capgras thinks that you are a fake.

I had a dream kind of like this once. In my dream, I was sure that my friends and family weren't actually them. I couldn't let them know I knew, though. When I woke up, I had to make sure that my parents were actually my parents. I was terrified. My heart goes out to all the people who have this disorder. <3
