The MC, M-, M+, and MR Buttons at the Top of a Calculator

I have never used these in my 18 years of life, not have I even learned what they do. See also Math, Unnecessary, Useless.

M+ = Add to memory M- = Subtract from memory MC = Memory Clear (clear stored value) MRC = Memory Re-Call (recall stored value) MU = Mark Up

what do you use mu for but for mrc its pretty useful for cheating you can save values for questions and its even better for a scientific calculator

These are memory functions. Old or simple calculators have a memory register - essentially a second calculator that can handle addition/subtraction only. M+, M-: Add (or subtract) the current value to (or from) the stored value in the memory register. MR : Recall the current memory register value.
